Former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has commended President Bola Tinubu for what he described as efforts to restore stability and hope in Nigeria.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday at a national summit organised by the Integrity Group of Nigeria (IGN), Okowa — represented by his former Special Adviser on National Assembly and Inter-Governmental Relations, Pascal Adigwe — praised Tinubu as an “action president” who has taken responsibility for governance.
“Tinubu’s decisions might be tough or rough, but they are yielding positive results. He is bringing stability and hope, taking the bull by the horn without shifting blame to the past,” Okowa said.
He expressed full support for Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, stressing that continuity would enable Nigerians to fully benefit from his policies.
Also speaking at the summit, IGN National Chairman, Dr. Oke Idawene, said Tinubu came prepared for leadership, noting improvements in security and access to student loans as part of his achievements.
Senator Binta Garba and former Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, also lauded the president’s performance, urging Nigerians to support him for sustained progress.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Prof. Nora Daduut, commended the group for promoting the renewed hope agenda and encouraged women to spread the message of continuity.
