The Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN), Ondo State Chapter, has heartily congratulated Alhaji Amidu Takuro on his well-deserved appointment as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
The reappointment, the MMPN said is a testament to his proven dedication, humility, and unwavering commitment to service.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the association’s state Chairman, Mr. Jubril Bada and its Secretary, Alhaja Fatima Muraina.
The statement read “Your return to the cabinet reflects your outstanding track record and integrity, which have continued to speak for you both within the Muslim community and across the state. We are confident that you will continue to bring honour to your office and contribute meaningfully to the development agenda of Ondo State.
“We especially thank Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for reposing trust and confidence in Alhaji Takuro by reappointing him to this strategic position. It is a clear sign of the governor’s appreciation for competence, experience, and loyalty.
“As media practitioners of the Islamic faith, we take pride in your representation and pray that Allah continues to guide you as you discharge your duties with wisdom, sincerity, and excellence.”
The media practitioners urged him to continue to uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and community service, which he widely known for.
The media practitioners noted that the new role offers another opportunity to support the governor’s vision for grassroots development and peace-building through traditional institutions.
The statement added “Once again, congratulations, Honourable Commissioner. May Allah grant you success and strengthen you in service to humanity and Ondo State at large.”
