The campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Anambra State, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, a.k.a Ikukuoma Movement, has kicked off in grand style in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the movement, which kicked off in Okota area of Lagos, was attended by the top Executive members of the movement including the National Coordinator, Chief Obioma Nnazor (AGU EJI EJE MBA), National Secretary, Barr. Nkechi Agubuzor and National women leader Hon. Obey Ezenia and others for the mobilization and campaign of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and his Deputy, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Uyom).
The meeting was attended by indigenes of Anambra State and indeed Ndigbo resident in Lagos State comprising men and women, who volunteered to support Prince Ukachukwu to be elected as the Governor of their state.
The National Coordinator of the group, Chief Obioma Nnazor, stated that the movement was formed to support Ikukuoma to achieve the Governorship ambition to be elected as the next Governor of Anambra State and the election is slated for 8th November,2025.
He explained that members of the group volunteered to support the Ikukuoma project because he has touched many lives through his philanthropic gestures over the years to the less privileged people in the society.
Chief Nnazor explained that Prince Ukachukwu is well known for his humility, accessibility and a man with milk of human kindness, who is always ready to assist humanity. And that was why the Movement is having influx of members on a daily basis.
He explained that the movement will cut across of all the States and to mobilize the good people of Anambra State to travel home to campaign and mobilize their families to vote for Ikukuoma.
Nnazor explained that it is not only mobilizing for campaign, the group is also mobilizing Anambra State indigenes living in other states to transfer their polling unit from where they are to Anambra State, so that they will be eligible to vote on the election day.
He explained that the group is structured in such a way that the campaign will cut across the States as they mobilize for votes for Ikukuoma through strategic networks set up by the group.
He further stated that the group has the capacity to deliver Ukachukwu in collaboration with other groups that have been collapsed into Ikukuoma Anambra Movement, which he is the National Coordinator.
He thanked the members for their resilience to deliver Ikukuoma and he is optimistic that he will eventually win and occupy Agu Awka, which is the capital of Anambra State.
He enjoined all Anambra people to join the movement because it is for the betterment of the State for infrastructural development, healthcare, economic prosperity and Agricultural advancement among others.
It appears that Ikukuoma Ndigbo, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is on the way to the Anambra State Government House at Agu Awka following the caliber of people who are joining the movement.
The National Coordinator, Chief Nnazor, is in a familiar terrain because he was the National Coordinator for the incumbent Governor, Professor Charles Soludo in 2020/21 and he won.
Now that he has joined the Ikukuoma Anambra Movement for Prince Ukachukwu and Senator Ekwunife, it may not be different as the captains of industry and businesses who are Anambra indigenes are solidly in support of this movement.
