Prince Feyisayo Ayodele, popularly known as Omo Oba Ise Akoko, has vowed to mobilise massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Akoko land and continue wooing opposition members into the All Progressives Congress.
Ayodele, who was represented at the One Voice Network general meeting by his close associate Comrade Fowowe, said the group would not relent in strengthening the APC and reconciling aggrieved members across Akoko North East.
“Our focus is to make the APC stronger than ever in Akoko,” he said.
“We will continue to reach out to those who left the party and even members of the opposition. By God’s grace, Akoko will deliver massive votes for President Tinubu.”
He also commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for what he described as giant strides in health, infrastructure and road projects.
“The Governor has shown uncommon commitment to the welfare of our people,” Ayodele said.
“The dualisation of the Akungba Ikare road is not just a project, it is a blessing to Akoko people. Governor Aiyedatiwa is a blessing to us.”
Ayodele further lauded the Governor’s investments in health facilities and rural development, stressing that Akoko people have seen visible progress and will continue to stand by him.
“From health centres to township roads, we can see real results,” he added. “The Governor has given us reasons to believe in his leadership, and we are proud to support him.”
The meeting also witnessed the defection of Pastor Aladejare, a grassroots political organiser, who returned to the APC with 20 executive members of his group.
He pledged to bring the rest of his supporters back, saying Ayodele’s leadership convinced him to rejoin the party.
The group is formed by political big wigs including former Deputy Governor Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Pastor Bola Ademuwagun, Otunba Gbenga Otolorin Elegbeleye, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilisation Alhaji Umar Abdulazeez Al Amaam, as well as Hon Versity Hon Yemi Omorosi, amongst others.
