OMOGBOLAHAN BABAWALE
*HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OKA-OME II*
Some come into your life as killjoys. Others come as destiny helpers. Some come into your life as parasites. Others come to lean on your shoulder for them to rise higher. Some come into your life as leeches or hangers-on. Others come as harbingers of goodies and/or viands.
Over the years, and to numberless individuals – spreading across various political divides and e’en in ordinary life adventures – you have been nothing short of a shade to many folks in dire straits. You have been a cover (of shame) to many souls in their low moment. You have been a go-to in catch-22s. You have been a duvet to many under a shattering cold, a shade under a scorching sun. And indeed, a problem-solver of immeasurable grandeur.
Boss, as a detribalised Nigerian, you ne’er stopped being humanitarian and altruistic. You are one of the reasons many still believe that no matter how dark one’s sky becomes, it will always droop away. You are a Maecenas to the core. A _’sugar daddy’_ of unquantifiable magnificence. It is an open and shut fact that whoever has you in their being has a celestial benison beyond viva voce.
Denge, on this occasion of your birthday, I pray Heavens ne’er stop protecting you (against all forms of evil machinations), blessing you in all ramifications, and embellishing your life with more avalanche supernova and uncommon éclat.
Happy birthday, Boss, *Dr. Joseph Umunnakwe Onoh*, the _*Denge*_ and the _*Oka-ome II*_ in *Ngwo*
