Hundreds of young students in Ondo North Senatorial District have benefited from a two-week summer school programme sponsored by Senator Dr. Olajide Ipinsagba.
The programme, held in collaboration with the National Directorate of Employment in Ikare-Akoko, equipped participants with essential academic and career skills.
The initiative, which ended on August 28, featured intensive training on study habits, examination techniques, career guidance, and leadership development.
Representing the senator, Hon. Folly Olonikoba said the programme was part of the lawmaker’s efforts to improve educational outcomes in the district.
Principal of Lennon Jubilee High School, Mrs Mary Ojuolape, urged the students to embrace discipline and goal-setting for academic success.
Dignitaries at the event included NDE State Coordinator, Mr Aderinola Emmanuel Taiwo, and other officials from the agency.
Participants received school bags, exercise books, mathematical sets, branded T-shirts, caps, and financial support for their education.
