Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Ex-Depot Price by N30, Set to Deploy 4,000 CNG Trucks
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a N30 reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing the cost down from N850 to N820 per litre. The new price takes effect from Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
The company described the move as part of its commitment to supporting national economic growth and ensuring Nigerians enjoy a steady supply of petroleum products.
In a related development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery disclosed plans to roll out 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for nationwide fuel distribution starting August 15, 2025. The phased deployment of the fleet, according to the company, is aimed at boosting operational efficiency, lowering logistics costs, and promoting cleaner energy use in Nigeria’s downstream sector.
