The Enforcers of Good Governance (EGG), a socio-political group in Rivers State, has organised a novelty football match to celebrate President Bola Tinubu’s policies and contributions to national development.
Convener of the group, Dr. Ogu Kingsley, said the event, held in Ogbogu, Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area, featured a clash between the Enforcers football team and a Rivers celebrities’ side. The game ended 6–1 in favour of the Enforcers, thrilling spectators with an entertaining display.
Kingsley praised the President’s commitment to building a more prosperous Nigeria and his support for sports development, noting that the match also formed part of the group’s grassroots mobilisation and community engagement efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.
He described the event as a blend of sportsmanship and political advocacy that drew sports lovers and supporters of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
