A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mr. Dele Omosehin, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency seat in the 11th National Assembly.
Omosehin made his declaration during a two-day political tour across Okitipupa and Irele Local Government Areas, held on Wednesday as part of his early campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC stalwart said his decision followed extensive consultations with party leaders, community stakeholders, and constituents in the area.
According to him, I have accepted the overwhelming call to contest and represent Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the next House of Representatives.
“So, I have listened carefully to the voices of our leaders, elders, and the people. With deep humility and a renewed sense of responsibility, I accept the call to serve,” he said.
As part of his campaign structure, Omosehin also unveiled the Asejere Movement, which he described as a political vision rooted in peace, prosperity, and people-oriented governance.
He reiterated the core values of the Asejere Movement as a platform for rebuilding trust, inspiring hope, and driving development across the constituency.
“The Asejere Movement is not just a campaign mantra but a commitment to a new era of inclusive representation and results-driven leadership.
“From Okitipupa to Irele, the message resonates — a new political dawn is here, and HRH Dele Omosehin is leading the charge to restore dignity, unity, and development in Ondo South,” he said.
