HYT Consulting, a trailblazing HR and people development firm headquartered in Lagos, has officially concluded its highly anticipated Employability Bootcamp, a flagship graduate training initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical workplace readiness.
The bootcamp, which took place in July, attracted thousands of registrations from fresh graduates and early-career professionals across Nigeria, reflecting the growing demand for practical, skills-based development among the nation’s youths.
From this impressive applicant pool, HYT selected a focused cohort of participants to ensure a personalized, high-impact learning experience.
Over the five day period, participants were immersed in intensive, hands-on training modules covering CV and cover letter development, interview readiness, emotional intelligence, communication in professional settings, workplace ethics, and real-world job simulations.
The program also featured mock interviews, team projects, and one-on-one mentoring sessions with HR experts and industry leaders.
According to the CEO of HYT Consulting, Mrs. Folusho Odegbaike, the bootcamp is part of the company’s broader vision to directly tackle youth unemployment, underemployment and lack of unemployable graduates through strategic workforce interventions.
“We are proud to have successfully delivered this bootcamp to a brilliant and enthusiastic group of young Nigerians,” said Mrs. Odegbaike. “At HYT, we believe that the greatest investment we can make is in people, equipping them not just with knowledge, but with the tools, mindset, and confidence they need to thrive in any workplace.”
“The turnout we witnessed was truly humbling, thousands of young people eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to society. This bootcamp wasn’t just about training for jobs; it was about transforming mindsets and igniting purpose,” she added.
The successful execution of the Employability Bootcamp adds to HYT’s growing reputation as a purpose-driven HR firm with a strong commitment to national development.
In recognition of this commitment, HYT Consulting was recently honored with the National Outstanding Performance Award (NOPA) by the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS).
The award was conferred for the company’s consistent excellence in HR outsourcing, people development, and its outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s workforce ecosystem.
In a symbolic moment during the award ceremony, Mrs. Odegbaike reflected on HYT’s journey and impact,
“This award means more than recognition, it’s a reaffirmation of our values. It shows us that what we do matters. Every CV reviewed, every interview practiced, every young life touched, it all adds up to a better, stronger workforce, and ultimately, a better Nigeria. Our mission remains clear, build people, grow businesses, and power the economy through human capital.”
In addition to the Employability Bootcamp, HYT Consulting continues to deliver innovative HR solutions across sectors through recruitment, training, outsourcing, and strategic consulting services.
The firm also runs an ongoing CSR initiative supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with free capacity development workshops part of its pledge to democratize access to quality HR expertise for all.
With these impactful programs and a growing national presence, HYT Consulting is setting a new benchmark in how HR firms operate combining technical excellence with a heart for people.
