Hon. Chris Oyesanmi, a respected voice in community development, has been honoured at the 2025 Topshot Hall of Fame Awards for his exceptional efforts in driving grassroots transformation and promoting civic engagement.
The award, which celebrates leaders making meaningful contributions at the community level, was bestowed in recognition of Oyesanmi’s unwavering dedication to empowering marginalized populations, supporting inclusive progress, and nurturing local leadership in Ondo State.
The high-profile event, held in Akure, attracted prominent figures from government, the private sector, traditional leadership, and civil society, all gathered to applaud individuals whose work exemplifies service and impact.
Represented by Hero Magazine Publisher, Dr. Akinbiola, Hon. Oyesanmi expressed gratitude to his constituents, dedicating the honour to them. “This recognition is not just about me—it’s about every community member whose voice I carry. It motivates me to keep pushing for development at the grassroots,” he stated.

Other awardees included Amb. Anu Ijiti, the Adaja of Isinkan, who was honoured with the Exemplary Leadership Award for Community Service; Mr. Sesan Ajetomobi, GMD of Autoprobe Technical Services, named Topshot Man of the Year; and Mrs. Olamiposi Odofin, Media Director at the Governor’s Office, who received the Face of Ondo State Media Award.
The ceremony also featured a keynote address by renowned urban planner Dr. Gbolabo Osunsanmi FNITP, titled “Retrospective Perspective on Leadership, Governance and Development in Ondo State,” offering insights into the region’s political and developmental progress.
Chairing the occasion, Dr. Rhoda Makinde commended the organisers for spotlighting individuals whose service is rooted in integrity and excellence.
