Fake Mike Okiro’s Son, Samuel Chukwudi Timothy Arrested Again For Allegedly Blackmailing Eze Chika Nwokedi
KINGSLEY EBERE

The self acclaimed first son of Retired Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro and photographer, Samuel Chukwudi Timothy a.k.a Chucks, has been arrested by the Police operatives from the Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos for allegedly threatening and blackmailing the Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo, Eze Chika Nwokedi.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 52-year old Timothy was arrested on Wednesday and detained following a petition written by Eze Nwokedi against him for allegedly making over 12 TikTok posts abusing and blackmailing Eze Nwokedi.
This is not the first time he will be arrested for committing similar offence. He did same against Eze Nwokedi and Chief Sunny Akpaoyibo, was arrested, charged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court and remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos.
However, Eze Chika Nwokedi later withdrew the matter after the suspect sent so many emissaries begging for forgiveness. Nwokedi considered, forgave him and let him go.
However, the day Eze Nwokedi went to Ejigbo Magistrate Court to withdraw the matter, he saw four women including a pregnant woman, who were remanded in custody over N240,000.
Eze Nwokedi showed compassion on the suspects who were brought from Kirikiri custody. He raised up his hand and told the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. K.A. Ariyo, that he wanted to pay the money so that the women will be freed and he paid the money.
After Eze Nwokedi withdrew the matter from the court, Timothy asked him to buy tricycle for him since he had such money to pay for the release of those women. But Nwokedi refused, asked him to go his own way and never contact him for anything.
Having regained his freedom, Timothy again started threatening Nwokedi and did so many TikTok posts against Eze Nwokedi, which he posted on the social media calling him unprintable names.
Thus, Eze Nwokedi wrote a petition dated 24th November, 2024 through the office of Barrister Peter Nnajego Chambers located in Oshodi, Lagos, to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Zone 2, Command Headquarters, Mr. Fayoade Adegoke.
It stated:
Sir,
“RE: PETITION AGAINST MR. CHUKWUDI SAMUEL TIMOTHY OF IJEGUN LAGOS STATE AND HIS COHORTS FOR THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY OF EZE DR. CHIKA NWOKEDI AND CONDUCT LIKELY TO CAUSE BREACH OF THE PUBLIC PEACE.”
“We are solicitors to Eze, Dr. Chika Nwokedi of Ijegun Lagos State (hereinafter called our client) on whose instruction we state as follows:-
“It is our instruction that for some months now the above named Mr. Chukwudi Samuel Timothy and his cohorts have constituted themselves into thorns in the flesh of our client for no reason.”
“It is our further instruction that the said Mr. Chukwudi and his cohorts have sworn to waste our client if unchecked.”
“It is our briefing that about 4 days ago; this group led by Mr. Chukwudi invaded our clients premises with harmful implements viz cutlasses, broken bottles and iron rods with a singular plan to waste our client but for the people around.”
“It is our instruction that the said Mr. Chukwudi has even gone to the social media inviting all his men to ensure that our innocent client is mercilessly dealt with if seen anywhere.”
It is our instruction that our client now lives in fear of the said Mr. Chukwudi and his cohorts who have boasted of their ability to get away with any crime committed, boasting of their political tin gods that make them untouchable in Lagos State.”
“Premised on the above, we have our client’s firm instruction to cry to your office praying you sir, come to the aid of our client, save our client’s life and property from the estranged Mr. Chukwudi and his cohorts, bring them to book and restore the hope of our client in his right to life and freedom of movement.”
“We are of the opinion that only your fatherly and timeous intervention will meet the justice of our client’s case.
Thanks for your fatherly understanding.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Nnajego Esq.”
After the petition was approved for investigation, Timothy has been evasive after several investigations until he was recently arrested in the premises of Zone 2 Command, where he was identified and eventually arrested.
He reportedly informed the Police that he was the first son of retired IGP, Mike Okiro and he was granted administrative bail to report on Monday next week for further investigation on the allegations.
This was confirmed by Eze Nwokedi, who insisted that he wants Timothy to be prosecuted in the interest of Justice. He said when he committed similar crime, the Police at Isheri Oshun Division arrested and charged him before the Court, he pleaded and he forgive him. But he still went back and continued to blackmail him because he did not buy him a tricycle.
On his alleged claim that he was the first son of Chief Mike Okiro, P.M.EXPRESS findings revealed that Timothy is not the son of Chief Okiro and they are not even from the same community as he allegedly claimed.
