More sympathizers have been visiting and paying condolence visit to the leader of Ndigbo and Ezendigbo of Ejigbo,Lagos, Eze Dr Alex Sunday Nwoye, over the demise of his elder sister, Elizabeth Nwoye.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that it could best be described as Divine arrangement as Obindigbo Council of Chiefs, Igbo Leaders in Ejigbo and Confranternity of Christian Fathers (CCF), SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church Oke-Afa Ejigbo coincidentally visited Eze Nwoye at his palace on 6th June, 2025, on condolence visit.
The Eze Nwoye’s Council of Chiefs, known as Obindigbo, was led the traditional prime minister (Onowu), Chief Odinaka Iwu with some palace Chiefs also in attendance to console Eze Nwoye.

Others were former chairman, Catholic Men Organization (CMO) Chief Obi Okonkwo, Elder in Catholic Confertnity of Christian Fathers (CCF) ,Onowu Philips Dibashi, Chairman CCF, Chairman of Ohanézè Ndígbo in Ejigbo, Chief Ikechukwu Agina, Chairman, Igbo Speaking Community, Ejigbo,Chief Innocent Njoku, among other leaders.
They were all there to console Eze Nwoye and his family and jointly offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of late Ms Elizabeth Nwoye and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear her loss.
In response, Eze Nwoye thank the groups for coming to his palace to console his family and prayed that God should console them at their times of need as they remembered to visit him and condole with the family.

The late Elizabeth Nwoye passed on and has been buried on 23rd May, 2025, at their home town, Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
