In a significant display of cultural diplomacy, leadership and hospitality, the highly respected Igbo diaspora king in the Republic of Ghana—His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr.) Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeigbo Ghana)— yesterday, Friday, 6th June, 2025, was accompanied by his council-of-elders and palace cultural troupe to warmly receive members of Akuluno United Brothers Association — at the Kotoka International Airport, Ghana— as he accorded them a grand reception that they truly deserved.

The heart-warming scene captured the attention of family, friends and the business community who were awaiting the arrival time of their loved ones including white people, as many of them who could not resist the reception, however, used their mobile phones to record the beautiful moments as Africa’s rich cultural heritage was celebrated and demonstrated in full blown.

The grand reception of no less a powerful social club like Akuluno United Brothers Association, no doubt marks yet another chapter in Ezeigbo Ghana’s legacy of leadership, ensuring that the Igbo people remain a vital and respected part of Ghana’s multicultural landscape and bilateral economic relationship, while promoting African cultural diplomacy for peace, unity and progress.

Akuluno United Brothers Association is one of the leading pan-Igbo sociocultural organizations with a focus on the South Eastern part of Nigeria— whose main objective is to propel economic advancement and development of the South East and her local economy— by bringing back home wealth creation and job opportunities through sustainable business establishments.

And one of the outstanding and successful Anambra born Nigerian industrialists; a boardroom business strategist and uncommon philanthropist who shall be joining ‘The Billionaires Club’ —a pan Igbo socio-cultural organisation —is High Chief (Dr.) Ikenna Anthony Obele (Okwunze Aguata)—Chairman of Mekens Integrated Services Ltd with business interests spanning: real estate, road construction, maritime, hospitality, and oil & gas, alongside other inductees.
