Construction work has officially commenced on the Rounda–Olorunda–Imeko Road, a major infrastructure project that promises to boost connectivity and economic activity in Ogun West Senatorial District with Abeokuta in Ogun Central.
According to on-site sources, engineers have mobilized to the area and excavation work is already underway, marking the beginning of what is expected to be a transformative development for the region.
This project is a direct fulfillment of the commitment made by the Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (popularly known as YAYI) during the empowerment programme held in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area three weeks ago.

Community leaders and residents have expressed appreciation for the timely delivery of this promise, emphasizing the road’s significance in improving access to remote communities, facilitating trade, and enhancing social mobility.
“This is more than just a road. It is a symbol of trust and leadership,” said a local youth leader in Olorunda. “Senator YAYI has shown that he stands by his word.”

The Rounda–Olorunda–Imeko Road project is one of several development initiatives being championed by Senator Adeola as part of his broader agenda to uplift Ogun West and ensure equitable infrastructure growth across the state.
With the commencement of this project, stakeholders are optimistic about the lasting impact it will have on transportation, commerce, and overall regional development.
