Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, were among prominent political figures who attended the National Political Consultative Group (North) forum held on Sunday in Abuja.
The high-level dialogue took place at the Abuja Continental Hotel and brought together influential leaders for discussions on the nation’s political direction. Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, and Obi, who contested on the platform of the Labour Party, were key participants in the event.
Their presence underscored growing efforts among political stakeholders to engage in consultations aimed at shaping Nigeria’s future political landscape.
The event was confirmed in a statement issued by the Atiku Media Office in Abuja on May 24, 2025.
